AutoAquí is a new and used car marketplace in the Dominican Republic, designed and built by lizardbot. Dealers and private sellers list for free with photos and direct contact, and buyers filter by make, model, year, price in RD$ or USD, mileage and more. It includes accounts with favorites, a financing calculator, dark mode and an AI virtual assistant.
The challenge: buying and selling cars without the runaround
In the Dominican Republic, much of the used car trade happens on social media and group chats, where it is hard to compare, filter or tell whether a listing is still active. The marketplace had to serve two audiences at once: dealers with inventory and individuals selling a single car.
The solution: a car marketplace with real search
We built search with core filters (type, make and model, year range, price in RD$ or USD, mileage) plus advanced filters: condition, transmission, fuel, drivetrain, colors, trim and seller type.
Listing is free for private sellers and dealers, with no subscriptions. The only optional payment is featuring a listing so it shows first.
