Fundación Vegeta is a nonprofit website that lizardbot designed and built for a Dominican foundation. It presents programs in health, climate, food security and community development, an impact map by province, a transparency section showing how funds are allocated, and a donation form with suggested amounts, one-time or monthly giving and receipt details.

The challenge: earning donor trust online
A foundation runs on trust. Donors want to know where their money goes, where the organization works and whether it is a formal entity. The foundation needed a site that answered those questions without making visitors email or call.
Giving also had to be simple: few steps, amounts in Dominican pesos and the option to request a receipt for tax purposes.
The solution: a nonprofit website built around giving
We organized the content as a clear path: mission, programs, impact, gallery, transparency, team, FAQ and donate. Each section answers a specific donor question before asking for anything.
The design puts mobile reading and keyboard access first, including a skip-to-content link that helps people using screen readers.
Key features
- Programs: four focus areas (community health, climate resilience, food security and community development), each with its own details.
- Impact map by province, filterable by focus area.
- Photo and video gallery filterable by category, with progressive loading.
- Transparency: a chart of how funds are allocated and examples of what each amount pays for.
- Donations: suggested amounts in RD$ or a custom amount, one-time or monthly, a choice of where the gift goes and an option to add a national ID or tax ID for the receipt.
- Media submissions: a form for volunteers to share photos and videos of activities.
What you can see today
The site is live at fundacionvegeta.org. Any visitor can understand what the foundation does, see where it works, review how it allocates funds and donate in one place. It also lists the foundation's legal details and its email, phone and WhatsApp contacts.
Services behind this project
This case combines custom web development with a purpose-built donation flow and careful handling of donor data, the same approach we bring to cybersecurity. If your organization needs something similar, tell us your idea.
Frequently asked questions
What did lizardbot do for Fundación Vegeta?
We designed and built the full nonprofit website, including the online donation flow. That covers the content structure, the interface, the programs, impact, gallery and transparency sections, and the donation form with suggested amounts and receipt details.
Can you build a donation website for my nonprofit?
Yes. We work with organizations in the Dominican Republic and the United States. We define your programs, your accountability story and your giving flow with you. You get the source code and full ownership, and you pay in milestones as we progress.
Can donors get a receipt through the website?
The form can collect what a donor needs for a receipt, such as a national ID or tax ID, as it does here. How receipts are issued depends on how your organization operates and which invoicing system you use, and we review that with you during discovery.
